Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have answers! If you don't see your question here, please email us at [email protected]

How much does it cost?

The cost is $20 as a one-time payment.

How does it work?

We scan the Global Entry Scheduling Service and our service notifies you when Global Entry appointments become available via text message.

How many notifications can I expect in a day?

It depends ... for super busy locations, expect less notifications as there are more folks trying to snag that spot and there is less availability. We'll only notify you if there's an available appointment that matches your preferences.

Will my billing auto-expire at the end of the month?

Yes, the billing is for a one-time payment with no auto-renewal.

Is this refundable?

Yes. If you have any questions or are not satisfied with the service, please email us at [email protected] and we will ensure we resolve your issue.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You'll automatically stop receiving notifications at the end of your 31 days and your subscription will auto-expire. However, if you'd like to cancel sooner, email us at [email protected] or reply STOP to the text message.

I received a notification, but when I go to schedule it, it's no longer there on the scheduling website. What happened?

😢 We're sorry to hear that but this usually means someone beat you to it! Appointments are first come first serve and can be taken by anyone at any time. We'll keep scanning for you and let you know if another one becomes available. Make sure to act fast and have your Trusted Travel Portal Username and Password ready!

Will SnapSlot store my credit card information?

No, we use Stripe to process payments securely.

How do I change my preferences?

You can change your preferences by emailing us at [email protected] -- we are currently working on a portal where you can modify your preferences yourself.

Does Snapslot book the appointment for me?

No. Snapslot is an alert service, not a booking service. We scan for cancellations and text you the instant a slot opens at one of your preferred locations, but you still need to log into the official Trusted Traveler Program website (ttp.cbp.dhs.gov) with your own username and password and book it yourself. Appointments are first come first serve, so act fast once you get the text. Be wary of any service that claims it will book the appointment for you -- doing that would require you to hand over your login.gov credentials (the sign-in system the official TTP website uses) to a third party. Guard those credentials as carefully as you would a Social Security number, and never share them with any app or service, including Snapslot.

What happens if no appointment opens up during my 31 days?

You should be able to find an appointment within your 31 days -- but if you don't, we've got you covered. Just email us at [email protected] and we'll happily extend your alert period for another month at no additional charge. Your original 31-day window is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal, so you're never charged again automatically -- the extension is simply our way of making sure you get the appointment you signed up for.

Will I only get appointment alerts, or other texts too?

When you sign up, you agree to receive SMS from Snapslot (via Gomushi Technologies) about available Global Entry appointments as well as occasional marketing messages related to Snapslot. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

Why does Snapslot use SMS instead of email?

Speed. Cancellation slots can fill up within minutes of opening, so how fast you find out matters. Email is easy to miss -- it often lands in a spam, junk, or promotions folder and can sit unread for hours or days. A text message goes straight to your phone, and people notice and check texts far faster than email. That extra speed is often the difference between catching a cancellation and missing it.
