Hidalgo Enrollment Center Global Entry Interview & Appointment Guide

Next appointment in 37 days

The Hidalgo Enrollment Center sits at the Anzalduas International Bridge in Mission, Texas, serving the Rio Grande Valley including McAllen and Hidalgo. The office relocated here from the McAllen Foreign Trade Zone, so if you've been before that move, the location has changed. Confirm the bridge on Google Maps before you head over.

No available appointments at Hidalgo Enrollment Center?

As the main enrollment center for the Rio Grande Valley, appointment slots here can be scarce relative to regional demand. Rather than refreshing the Trusted Traveler Programs site by hand, savvy travelers set up Snapslot to send a real-time text the moment a cancellation opens up, so they can grab it before anyone else does.

Knowing the Global Entry Application Process

  • Submit Your Application: Create a Trusted Traveler Programs account and submit the Global Entry application with the fee.
  • Await Conditional Approval: CBP reviews your background before clearing you to schedule an interview.
  • Schedule Your Interview: Arriving more than 15 minutes late can mean being rescheduled entirely, so build in extra time. If nothing is open, Snapslot can alert you the moment a cancellation appears.
  • Attend Your Interview: A CBP officer reviews your documents and travel history in person at the bridge facility.
  • Await Final Approval: Most applicants hear back shortly after the interview.

Preparing for your interview

Bring your travel documents, proof of residency, and proof of solvency. If you listed a vehicle on your application, bring current insurance and registration for it too. The interview is largely an honesty check, so answer plainly and dress professionally, as you would for any appointment with a federal officer.

Getting to your appointment

Parking at Hidalgo Enrollment Center

From I-2, head south on Bryan Road/Anzalduas Highway for about 4.6 miles. Look for large yellow barrels on the left side of the road, then take the road just past them to reach the public parking area.

Taking Public Transit to Hidalgo Enrollment Center
