No available appointments at Shreveport Regional Airport?

As one of the smaller regional enrollment centers in Louisiana, appointment slots here can be limited relative to demand from the wider Shreveport-Bossier City area. Rather than refreshing the Trusted Traveler Programs site by hand, savvy travelers set up Snapslot to send a real-time text the moment a cancellation opens up, so they can grab it before anyone else does.

Knowing the Global Entry Application Process

  • Submit Your Application: Create a Trusted Traveler Programs account and submit the Global Entry application with the fee.
  • Await Conditional Approval: CBP reviews your background before clearing you to schedule an interview.
  • Schedule Your Interview: Slots here fill quickly. If nothing is open, Snapslot can alert you the moment a cancellation appears.
  • Attend Your Interview: A CBP officer reviews your documents and travel history in person on the third floor.
  • Await Final Approval: Most applicants hear back shortly after the interview.

Preparing for your interview

Bring your valid passport, and be ready to speak to every country you've visited in the last five years. The interview is largely an honesty check, so answer plainly and dress professionally, as you would for any appointment with a federal officer.

Getting to your appointment

Parking at Shreveport Regional Airport

Paid parking lots operated by the airport's parking vendor sit within a short walk of the terminal, offering a few different levels of coverage depending on how long you'll be there. Standard rates apply, payable by cash or card.

Taking Public Transit to Shreveport Regional Airport

Sportran, the Shreveport-Bossier City public bus system, runs multiple lines that connect at the airport. Uber and Lyft also serve the airport, with pickup at a designated area near the rental car lot, and tend to be the simpler choice for a single timed appointment.
