How to find a Global Entry Appointment

For the most up to date information regarding the Global Entry Program visit the official Global Entry Website

Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports. At airports, program members proceed to Global Entry kiosks, present their machine-readable passport or U.S. permanent resident card, place their fingerprints on the scanner for fingerprint verification, and complete a customs declaration. The kiosk issues the traveler a transaction receipt and directs the traveler to baggage claim and the exit.

1. Submit your application

The first step to obtaining Global Entry is to submit an online application through the Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) website. Ensure you provide accurate information and complete all required fields. The application includes personal information, passport details, employment history, and travel history.

2. Wait for Conditional Approval

After submitting your application, CBP will review it to determine your eligibility for Global Entry. If your application is conditionally approved, you'll receive a notification via your TTP account. This approval does not guarantee enrollment but indicates that you have met the initial criteria.

3. Schedule Your Interview

Once conditionally approved, log in to your TTP account to schedule your Global Entry interview. You'll need to select a convenient enrollment center and appointment time. Interview locations vary, with many available at major airports and other designated sites across the country. It's essential to schedule your interview as soon as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

4. Wait for Final Approval

Attend your scheduled Global Entry interview at the designated enrollment center. During the interview, a CBP officer will verify your identity, review your application, and ask questions related to your travel history and eligibility. After a successful interview, you'll typically receive final approval for Global Entry within a few days.
